Since the wingnuts were able to invade Democratic town hall meetings last August and disrupt the peaceful discourse of democracy, I have decided to post some upcoming Republican town hall meetings during the August recess. I will be back with more in the coming days.
First up is Congressman/Big Oil Apologist Joe Barton, who infamously apologized to BP for what he referred to as a "shakedown." For anyone who lives in Texas' 6th Congressional District who is disgusted by Barton's shameless pandering to these environmental rapists, these meetings are as follows:

Important note: If you're hoping for information on Michele Bachmann town halls, the best I can give you is this, the link to her Tele-Townhalls. It is very important to know that in order to participate, you must be a resident of Minnesota's 6th Congressional District.
I intend to come back with more dates and times in the coming days, as Republican Congressmen and Senators need to hear our disappointment over their votes on the DISCLOSE Act and the assistance to 9/11 workers, as well as their vested interest in continued economic turmoil in the name of regaining power. They need to know that standing for nothing but tax cuts for the uber-wealthy and wars that only make said uber-wealthy richer will no longer suffice.
In the meantime, I strongly urge anyone reading this in Texas 6 to go to one or more of these meetings and make Congressman Barton uncomfortable. Ask him tough questions and force him to actually answer while doing your best to ignore the wingnuts who will inevitably try to shout you down. Above all, stay civil. Violence, coarse language, and shouting out is for teabaggers, not Americans.
