About my personal situation and how things are different here than in the UK.
First off I am married to Alexandra Lynch who many of you that post here know and have read her post here and seen here comments. I'm Bear her husband and friend for the past 20 years. Alexandra and I both have several medical conditions that I can't really afford to be off work so that I can pay for prescriptions and doctor visits. She need surgery on her foot and needs meds for her fibro. And I have been off work for the last month dealing with medical problems that keep me from driving and working.I am seeing a cardiologist in the morning for just one of my problems that could mean surgery on me asap. My bills will be a couple of months or more behind and I will have several hundreds of dollars if not up into the thousands in medical bills racked up by the time I can go back to work.. I have not been payed for the last 4 weeks because I have used up all my vacation and sick days up. It looks like I am going to possibly off another week or way more before my conditions get straight. I'm just saying If I lived in England or France I would not have to worry about the ungodly amount of money I'm going to be shelling out for medical care when the US could pay for medical care for what we are spending on the war.I'm not asking for a hand out but its getting to a point where I am seeking loans from family members who are on fixed incomes and hoping I have a job to go back to when I can. I cannot afford to pay the bills and I'm sure I will be sued and garnished which will make it even harder on us but we will get threw it we have before and will again. Life sucks right now but will manage.
