I force myself to watch Faux News, solely to respond to those who live and breathe it.
And tonight I noticed an amazing trend.
On every Faux News show I watched (most notably O'Reiley and Beck), there was extensive coverage of Beck's speech last weekend. And in every segment there was a musical montage of the event.
Amazingly, these montages heavily featured African-Americans or African-American families. If one based their understanding just on these montages, the impression would be that African-Americans were a good part, if not a majority, of the attendees at Beck's rally.
I compare this to the rest of the coverage I have seen of the rally. Those that happened to include large group shots, rather than individual or family pictures. In these large shots I saw the very rare exception to the lily white crowd. Imagine that, the pictures were so divergent.
Must be the main stream media at work again, trying to portray the Beckers as overwhelmingly white. Good thing Faux News is around to find the African-Americans in the crowd to dispel that image for the comfort of their viewers.
For some reason, they could not find any Muslims. How odd.
[I do not see the videos up yet. If anyone can add them, please do. Thanks.]
