I like this ad. Congressman Joe Sestak is running against extreme right wing former Congressman, fomer head of the "Club for Growth," and Wall Street derivative trader, Pat Toomey.
Text below.
Narrator: Do you think corporations pay their fair share? Pat Toomey thinks corporations shouldn't pay any taxes.
Pat Toomey on screen and speaking: "Let's not tax corporations."
"I think the solution is to eliminate corporate taxes all together" [also shown on screen]
Narrator: The middle class is struggling, but Toomey thinks it's oil companies and Wall Street that should pay no taxes."
[on screen: Toomey: Oil companies and Wall Street should PAY NO TAXES]
Zero. [on screen: Toomey: Oil companies and Wall Street should pay ZERO]
No wonder Toomey's been called "Wall Street's conggressman." [on screen: "WALL STREET'S CONGRESSMAN"]
Pat Toomey on screen and speaking: "I think the solution is to eliminate corporate taxes all together" [also shown on screen]
Narrator: Pat Toomey. He's for them, not for us.
[On Screen: Pat Toomey: HE'S FOR THEM, NOT FOR US]
I like it. People are angry and the Republicans have focused their anger on the adminstration and away from the ones who caused the crash.
This is overtly "which side are you on?"
Pat Toomey: HE'S FOR THEM, NOT FOR US
And he is. A Wall Street derivative trader, long time right wing extremist, Toomey epitomizes the Wall Street control of the Republcian parties.
More about Toomey:
MEDIA, Pa. - Last week, Congressman Toomey made the remarkable claim that he never said he favors "privatizing" Social Security, even though he’s been on the record 36 times advocating to end the benefits program as we know it. As the Patriot News reported, "Pat Toomey appeared to be trying a little revisionist history this week when he claimed he never called for privatizing Social Security ... The key to understanding this semantic subterfuge is, well, semantics."

•Congressman Toomey has gone to great lengths to disguise his Wall Street career, that he even edited his campaign bio to omit the fact that he "developed and managed a $21 billion derivatives trading operation for Morgan Grenfell Finance, Inc." [Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 04/13/09]
•Congressman Toomey tried to claim that he never pioneered the use of derivatives, but in a video from 2003, he lavished praise on them calling derivatives, "perhaps the most important, creative and innovative development in finance in the last 30 years." [Morning Call, 8/17/10]
