Here we go, they're at it again. Republicans have sent out their lawyers to stop people from voting. In Cuyahoga County which consists of the City of Cleveland bilingual ballots and absentee ballots are being contested
When the Voting Rights Act was signed in 1965 it included all Americans. Special provisions had to be made for Puerto Rican citizens. Accomodations had to be made to insure that these citizens of America had their voting rights protected.
Reports coming out of Clevealnd say the Cuyahoga Board of Elections is will translate voting ballots for the Nov. elections as well as the special elections next week.
The U.S. Department of Justice confronted Cuyahgoa county’s BOE in July saying they were in violation of the 1965 Voting Rights Act which states Puerto Ricans have the choice of voting with a Spanish language ballot.
Yes that guy that's the most hated man on Kos the POTUS had the Department of Justice to enforce it. Secrtary of State Jennifer Brunner is making sure that Puerto Ricans know their rights. Hell you think that the President has a problem with his Birth Certificate, look at what they're trying to do to American citizens of Puerto Rican heritage, they're being questioned about their Birth Certificates too. Like the President they are born in America but some people wish they could wish it away.
Another situation is that Republicans want to halt the absentee ballot program because of a technicallity. Most of the people in my family vote absentee to avoid the long lines and for convience. Don't think they can't do this to you. In Arizona the legislature want to throw the President off the ballot in 2012 because he doesn't have a Birth Certificate to present them. Other states are thinking of similiar laws. If Republicans can't win fairly, they want to put their thumb on the scale.

Update This video is a example of some of the tricks the right is doing. Keep in mind that in Houston all the voting machines were burned.
