Today was pretty good with only 25 cravings! Yes, I said 25 cravings! I actually wrote them down when I wanted a cigarette. It was unbelievable that I had cravings when I want to eat, bathroom, read, or on the computer.
BUT, I was able to get rid of the CIGS in my mind by stating how good I feel, knowing that I didn't have cigs hands, cigs car, and cigs breath (even though I always use mints and wash my hands).
Some positive things I did to balance myself was I made coffee & tea for this morning and I had only 1 cup of each and a bowl of cereal as my breakfast.
I walked 1.5 miles in 20 minutes! I also did some strength training as well. I was SURELY hungry after this, so I made a chicken stir fry using only frozen vegetables and rotisserie chicken. Very good!
I'm also drinking plenty of water. I have heard that you must increase your water intake by as much as 20% than what you normally would drink. So for me bing 5'9 weighing 203lbs (I"M NOT FAT), I should drink at least 60 ounces of water each day. I usually only drink 48 ounces of water each day.
Dinner was "Hamburger Helper Beef Stroganoff". (I know) too much salt! but this was the reduced version and I used real cheese, broccoli and American Cheese.
I've also went to GNC and bought some "new pills" to take:
- B12 - 1000mg
- Inositol - 1000mg
- L-Carnintine - 500mg
- Vitamin C 1000mg
These supplements will help on replenishing what GUS was taking away from my body.
