Haven't seen a regular WHEE diary in a while, so I'll post another in my ongoing struggle.

WHEE (Weight, Health, Eating and Exercise) is a community support diary for Kossacks who are currently or planning to start losing, gaining or maintaining their weight through diet and exercise or fitness. Some days just go right off the rails.  I don't know that it's going to be a bad day to start, but then I just pop some peanut m and m's as I pass through the dining room.  Or grab 'just a few' pringles while I'm in the kitchen.  The next thing I know, I'm heaping on the scalloped potatoes at dinner, knowing that I took far too many, and then getting in to the fridge and grabbing half a piece of baked chicken when I let the dogs out in the middle of the night.

It seems like most days I can keep on track, even figure in a 'treat', but some days just out of the blue, the control is just gone that day, even though I'm still writing down every last calorie, watching them mount up ever higher.  Aaargh.  I did notice, though, that this last time was right after a day on which my weight dropped 1.6# in a single day, so maybe my body said 'Hey!  Stop that!'  And told me to eat, eat, eat!  The problem is, I then went right back up that 1.6#.  Slow and steady wins the race, go too fast and you get pulled over and not let go til you've lost all the time you thought you were making...

So how are things going for everyone else?  I hadn't planned to write another one of these so soon, but frustration hit, along with that binge eating day...
