Stop the media! They need to get... something real.

The last week brought us massive "news" coverage of:

Polls that suggest 25% of Americans think Obama is a Muslim
Glen Beck's rally
Ground Zero "Mosque" site
Random Sarah Palinisms.
Rahm Emanuel might run for mayor of Chicago
The Florida idiot (I refuse to recognize any version of a religious title) hijacking the media with a book burning stunt

It's the GOP dream. 54 days until the mid-term elections that literally could see another impeachment attempt on a President.

Everyday they check off the calendar is running out the clock on their game.

No pressing the GOP or answers about how they would provide JOBS, JOBS, JOBS
No answers on how they would cut the budget AND keep the Bush tax cuts
No answers on how their small government would do anything to help the states' budget crisis that affects teachers, law enforcement, and other public servants. (also JOBS).
No answers on why the GOP supports bring back pre-existing conditions and dropping other insured citizens when they are sick.
Nothing on oil dependence, pollution in the Gulf of Mexico, and green jobs.
Fixing failing infrastructure.
Questions on immigration reform. Path to fixing or just ship people out?
Oh, and what will they do to create JOBS. Bush and other supply side tax cuts that failed the last 30 years does not count as an answer.

Whoever the "MEDIA" is, GET ON TOPIC. The country depends on it.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
