A Story in the Biloxi SunHearld is reporting that a Indiana Tea Party group will head to D.C. to join Randall Terry at the White House for a little sacrilegious desecration of the Koran on 9/11.

Quran Burning: Solidarity Protest at White House on 9/11 at 11:30 A.M.: Pages of Quran to be Ripped Apart

WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 PRNewswire-USNewswire -- The following was released today by Andrew Beacham, Tea Party leader from Indiana:

Tea Party and Religious rights activists will gather in front of the White House to tear out egregious passages from the Quran that call for violence against Christians and Jews. This is a peaceful "solidarity gathering" regarding religious freedom, and proposed Quran burning.

They will ask: "President Obama, do you support the Sharia law, the Quran, and Islamic violence; or do you stand with religious freedom, American liberty, your professed Christianity, and peaceful protest?

Included was this macho call to religious conflict:

"I will not fear any man; I fear God alone. I will not live in fear of Islam, and I will not deny my God. I will preach the Christian faith, and not allow the oppressive teachings of Muhammad to remain unchallenged." Andrew Beacham, Tea Party leader from Indiana.

Media Matters reports in their reveling timeline of anti-Muslim bigotry that the champion of anti-abortion terrorists, Randall Terry is one of the organizers of of the "protest"/provocation planned for today.

TIMELINE: Nine months of the right's anti-Muslim bigotry

Randall Terry, Tea Party group plans to tear pages out of Quran at White House on 9/11.

...According to the press release, Randall Terry, anti-abortion fanatic and "host of daily TV show Randall Terry: The Voice of Resistance," is involved in organizing the event,...

The Media Matters timeline is well worth reading to see how the Right Wing built a wave of fear, hysteria, and bigotry against Muslims.

These hate filled fanatics are following the newest formula to get free airtime to spout their bigoted filth to the world. Lets hope that the MSM learned a lesson from the past week, and won't go into another feeding frenzy over these attention whores.

Does the Republican Party really want their Tea Party allies to go THERE?
The Republican's widespread belief that Obama is a Muslim, and their over the top rhetoric about a Mosque in an abandoned Burlington Coat Factory have helped to push the Tea Party over the edge. Lets just hope that the Tea Party will drag the Republicans over the edge with them in rational voters' eyes.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
