A poll of likely PA voters released today by The Times Leader shows Democrat Joe Sestak trailing very right wing Republican Pat Toomey in the U.S. Senate race by only 4%, 40%-36%, with 24% undecided.
The poll of the governor's race shows Republican Tom Corbett leading Democrat Dan Onorato by only 1 point, 38%-37%, with 25% undecided.

These results are FAR better for the Democrats than other recent surveys. According to pollster.com, Toomey has an average lead over Sestak of 47.5-39.8, and the last time that Sestak was found within four points was in a DSCC sponsored poll five weeks ago.
http://www.pollster.com/... Pollster.com shows the Corbett leading the governor's race by double digits.
The poll was conducted by telephone with live interviews. To be a likely voter, respondents had to answer several questions about past voting and intention to vote this year. According to the pollster, the poll has an error margin of +/- 4%. The Times Leader story states that this is the first of four polls that will be taken in the weeks leading up the election.
Perhaps this is an outlier (there are a lot of non-committed voters too), but it certainly shows a positive move in the right direction in two key races. Sestak will be an excellent progressive Senator. Toomey was head of the "Club For Growth." Need I say more? How about it is one of the critical races that will determine how many Senate seats we lose this year. Now is the time to fight if you are local and contribute if you are not. http://www.actblue.com/...
