Learn that slogan..not the original but the true one.
It is a plague and it is coming to a city or town near you
soon if you sit this election out.

Let me see.  Make the Bush cuts permanent.  How many lives have been lost from not enough taxes being paid by the upper crust.  Ahhhhh.  Let them settle for the crumbs we throw them.  Isn't that the real truth.  Isn't that the real reason for making the Bush cuts permanent?  So we can become peasants faster.
Repeal the Healthcare Bill......Well as inperfect as it is,
it is a step in the right direction and aren't they really saying, we  want you to die and die quickly.  We are the ones who support Big Tobacco anyway.  Come on.  It's their
plague..not their pledge.
How about the missle defense system?  That's right.  Let us
get all the countries hating America again so we can spend what we don't have on a system that won't be used but we can say we are for defense when actully it is war profiteering.   Another plague.
How about cutting all those entitlements, like medicare and social security not to mention wanting to repeal the 14th Amendment and God knows what else.
If you want to sit this election out, you will have to explain to your children and grandchildren, we could have swallowed our pride and tried to fight.  I am sorry you are and this could happen....being forced to attend ..mandatory Sunday school and Church.  I am sorry you are being denied a lunch at school at a reduced price.
I am sorry you don't have healthcare.  I am sorry you were raped and forced to carry a child from a rapist.  I am sorry you don't have any type of quality education.
I am sorry you are poor and now homeless because we just wanted to prove a point and tried to make some bad people
pay for making bad decisions.  I didn't think it would turn
into a plague on America.

This is real folks.  They have made a pledge to make your life worse than it is right now.  it is a plague.  It will spread hate and depression and hopelessness except for a few who have fled to the mountains with their canned goods waiting for the end times.  Forget that.  We are at the end times if they take power.  You may have to flee but the mountains with a few cans of beenie weenie won't help.
Think about it and then ask yourself.  Can I really sit this election out?  Is my hurt feeling and short change worth it?

You may not get the change you wanted but are you ready for the change you are about to get if you sit it out?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

But I work for myself. So I can spend several hours a day here. Last ten days silent. Huge, huge project. Working on it 24/7. Sleeping like a few hours here or there.

With that said as I work and listen to MSNBC in the background and don't vent here I am way MORE PISSED! I want to blow a gasket.

No TV and I'm blissfull, hopeful, gearing up for a Union canvass on Sat to help Dems, doing whatever needs to be done on several campaigns and it sure does help!

      May you find peace.

Please vote Democratic in November. If the GOP wins we will all be forced backward another decade, who wants that?

      •  It is hard living in Newt land (0+ / 0-)

Not from the tv but everywhere I go I have these crazies using his talking points.  Grocery stores, school, banks, you name it.  I have become an enemy in my own community but that is OK I still have a voice but have cut off just about all I know.  This is the reddest county in Ga and very very tea party active.
Remember this is where Newt was a teacher and old Ollie comes out with Lynn Westmoreland.  I can't afford to move and I hate it here.
My county has Neal Horsley and Newt and bigots with signs of No N.....care.  They
are proud of their bigotry.  The few like me are scared to death.

        •  I campaign and phone bank but (0+ / 0-)

I have even lost old friends of over 45 years over this tea party junk.  I cut em off.  They have turned into monsters.
It's not the television that is so bad, even if it is, it is the area with their big Nathan Deal for Governor signs and hatred displaying everywhere.  I can't even begin to tell you how brave these idiots are and it feels like I stand alone.

No thanks to the Dems. 'Ooh, scary people!' doesn't work very well, and the guaranteed government shutdown coming if they 'win' will be cast as our  (and Obama's)fault, not theirs.  The sick and sickening MSM will say that, (Fux Newz will blast it 24/7). If the worst happens it will make for a couple of years of misery and some (easily avoidable)death, but that's the price we will have to pay. The mistakes made include the entire Democratic Party, but remember, however awful it might become for ordinary citizens, it won't affect the politicians, (Most of whom are rich already). The up side is that two years of teahadist rule should kill the GOP for at least a generation, their ideas old and unhelpful, will stink too much (they already smell).

Teahaists HELP them stay around, remember 2000--it set us back over a decade, we CANNOT allow that to happen,

AND the media is so wrong about helping people remember, it works in some cases, in many cases people are so happy to hear from people like me to help them understand the issues, and let them know they're vote is values..

What doesn't work is sitting home and NOT campaigning

What doesn't get the vote out is sitting home watching the TV, getting depressed
