I am one of those who would support Martha Coakley for Senate because she has the right qualifications and has proved an effective Attorney General. anyone, Republican or Democrat who disagrees is saying that due to recent events.
If she somehow loses (I still think she will win), it will be because she ran the worst campaign since Kathleen Kennedy Townsend lost the almost automatic Maryland Gubernatorial race in 2002.
I believe that the candidate that puts the most work into winning the campaign and working the hardest will win the election, unless the party line is so dramatically tilted towarfds one party (like I thought Massachusetts was) to make up for the difference in party registration and overall political leaning.
My question to all Kossacks is what can be done to improve the chances of Fellow democrats running for statewide office to assure that no race in a state like MA will ever be this close again.
Also, would a close election possibly motivate democrats for 2010.
Also I might be wrong, however it seems to me that Scott Brown has worked harder to win the senate election and Martha Coakley hasn't done enough.
