Shady corporate groups are now running TV ads in New Hampshire attacking Ann McLane Kuster because she's on the verge of winning this key NH-2 House seat. Kuster, you'll recall, defeated crushed Joe Lieberman's presidential campaign co-chair Katrina Swett in last month's big primary after being supported by the PCCC, DFA, MoveOn, and other progressive groups.

UPDATE: Thanks to those who "recommended" this diary -- please keep em coming so others can see and help fight back!

Ironically, "Americans for Prosperity" is attacking Kuster for supporting the public health insurance option! Their ad says Kuster thinks health care reform "doesn't go far enough" -- which is exactly what a new AP poll finds that Americans think by 2-to-1.

Meanwhile, Ann's Republican opponent, Charlie Bass, is attacking her for being a "bold progressive" and says the Tea Party's agenda is "exactly the same as mine."

When a candidate campaigns as a bold progressive and is attacked by corporations for supporting the public option, we need to strike back!
Can you donate $4 to Ann's campaign here?

Or, tonight, help the PCCC and DFA make thousands of emergency calls for Ann. We're calling solid NH Democrats who were mailed absentee ballot forms -- asking them to fill them out and VOTE EARLY! Click here to make calls (from your home) for Ann Kuster tonight (Monday) at 6pm Eastern.

The right would LOVE to defeat Kuster, especially after progressives helped her win a big primary. This is a moment for all of us to help her fight back -- either by chipping in some money or some time.

Note: You can also sign up to do weekly shifts on the PCCC/DFA phone bank, calling target voters in key districts and states with progressives on the ballot -- folks like Grayson, Feingold, and others. Sign up here.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
