More typical tea-bagger mentality of hatred toward blue-collar individuals and the middle class is summed up in tis link.
A lot of people on this site may consider me somewhat a conservative Democrat but this is evidence I am at least somewhat of a progressive. Although I am not from West Virgnia, I have went to a school there and have worked there and I'm seriously concerned about the outcome of the upcoming Senate election in this state.
Here's why....

In an appearance on ABC News' "Top Line," Raese described the decades-old measure as useless and signaled his belief that it has been ever since it was signed into law by then-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a Democrat, in 1938.
"I don't think it worked then," explained the GOP hopeful. "It didn't solve any problems then and it hasn't solved any problems in 50 years."
When pressed on the matter and asked if he thinks the federal minimum wage rate -- $7.25 per hour -- should be repealed, Raese responded, "absolutely."
Really? Are you kidding me? How much bigger of an asshole can you be?
The Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in West Virginia, John Rases who just recent;y bragged about "making his money the old-fashioned way, he inherited it," thinks that the West Virginians he wishes to represent don't even deserve a fair wage.
Better yet, there are businesses in West Virginia that require their employees they are making minimum wage even when that's not the case. In other words a waiter who makes $3.25 an hour can get fired for not claiming minimum wage ($7.25/hr). Yet this prick who complains about having to pay an inheritance tax expects the blue collar and service workers to pay taxes on icome hat doesn't even exist so that his precious business cronies can have "more flexibility" in their ventures. As a friend of mine said, John Raese is "cruel and arbitrary and has a 'let them eat cake mentality' like Marie Antoinette."
