American Future Fund Ad - Fork in the Road - Stephanie Herseth Sandlin SD

New Ad from special interest American Future Fund repeats false attack - Mark Schauer MI

Do you notice a pattern?

Paid for by the American Future Fund Political Action.
Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.

American Future Fund has already spent over $4,000,000 on such Ads, this Campaign season (4th bar from the left, in the graph);  $7 Million Total, according to Keith Olbermann.

They are not alone, among the many well-funded Front Groups -- out there Shilling for Billionaires!

Of course Front Groups are NOT about to let a few pesky Facts -- get in the way!

Truth Squad: American Future Fund ad makes facts "disappear" (Rep. Mark Schauer - MI)

Of course Stephanie Herseth Sandlin has a "few facts" she'd like you to know about her Candidacy too ...

But thanks to Citizens United decision, "Special interest groups outside the Democratic and Republican parties" are out-spending themselves, when compared to the previous midterm election cycle, by about 500% -- and they aren't done yet.

And GOP Front Groups are outspending the Dem Response Ads trying to set their records straight -- by a 7 to 1 margin.

Dems are being outspent by Corporate Speech.  Period.

Who's Buying US Elections?  Young Turks -- Cenk Uygur

American Future Fund's Cookie Cutter Ad formula --

Get flashy graphic, and a menacing announcer;

Cut and Paste in -- the Name of the Candidate, your backers dislike and have paid to replace!

Don't Fact Check anything -- make your Opponents waste their Time and Money trying to combat your baseless accusation. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

It helps when the Same Cookie-cutter format can be used over and over again, all across the nation.  That makes their "special" money -- go even further, as clearly displayed next:

Corporate Donations Buying U.S. Elections - Countdown -- Keith Olbermann

20% of ALL Front Group Ad Expenditures this season are AGAINST Alan Grayson -- most of which are from out of state groups -- perhaps even out of the country.  According to Rep Grayson, in this Schultz show appearance, today:

Alan Grayson is their Number One Target

This is a Spoof-Ad  [or is It? ]  making light of the Scare Campaign being waged against Alan Grayson:

Alan Grayson: Hates Children, Hates Seniors, Loves Satan

This is an actual Ad attacking Grayson, which is NOT quite so funny:

Alan Grayson - A National Embarrassment

Isn't it amazing what bottomless, deep pockets can do -- when our Traditional Media does SO little to Call BS on this piece-meal erosion of Democracy -- occurring right before our eyes?

SOOOOO ... what can YOU DO to fight back against these tactics of the Factless, Faceless, Front Groups?

Here's one way to fight back:

Alan Grayson -- Congressman With Guts

Here's Another way:

Tell your Friends and Family to Vote too -- yes, it's that important.

Just ask the American Future Fund; or better yet the Friends of John Boehner to see what they think about Getting out the Vote.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
