My cat Molly, whom I have had since I was almost 7 years old, passed away eight days ago. Only now am I taking the effort to blog here about it. She has been ill for more than two weeks now with anemia. We thought that medication would be enough, but her condition continued to deteriorate. This evening, we took her to the animal hospital to see whether or not there was hope left and they said her condition was grave. Her body was failing and there was no hope for recovery. Her body temperature was supposed to be 99 degrees, it was found to be 88.2 degrees. We were left with no choice but to give her a peaceful passing.
My dad and I chose to have her cremated and her ashes to be stored in a cedar box with her name on it. We also opted to have her paw impression made on plaster for us. We'll return this Monday to receive both the box and the paw print.
May my darling cat rest in peace. She was a wonderful companion and I miss her so much. I love her and will never forget her.
Molly, nee Minnie April ~20, 1996 - October 9, 2010.
It still is hard to adjust to this. Whenever I come home, I still expect to hear her greet me or to see her sleeping on my dad's bed.
Here are only a few pictures of her that I want to share: Lying Around by ~wayne234 on deviantART Her Favorite Spot by ~wayne234 on deviantART Sideways Glances by ~wayne234 on deviantART Eyes Like Lamps by ~wayne234 on deviantART
