President Obama is making his third and last campaign stop for the day (He was in Philly (Sestak) and Bridgeport, CT (Blumenthal) earlier today) in his hometown of Chicago stumping for his Senate seat replacement, Alexi Giannoulias, and doing his best to mobilize Democrats and GOTV for Tuesday so we can continue Moving America Forward.
Thousands of people are gathering at the Midway Plaisance in Hyde Park waiting for the start of a Democratic rally featuring President Barack Obama in his first public appearance in Chicago since his 2008 election-night victory event in Grant Park.
Obama's visit home aims at aiding first-term state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias is his battle for the president's old U.S. Senate seat against five-term North Shore Republican U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk. Also scheduled to attend is Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn, who is trying to fend off a challenge from Republican state Sen. Bill Brady.

Some pics from President Obama's rally for Rep. Tom Periello in Charlottesville, VA yesterday - a district he lost to McCain in '08. Over 9,000 enthusiastic supporters turned out to see him:
