"You have been temporarily relieved of your command."
Anyone who reads the front pages should know that when the creator of this website writes something, the impact can be tremendous and immediate. Obviously, he is a pioneer and driving force behind progessive politic and a huge asset to our cause. Whereas, I am much less so. Sadly, however, today, an ill-timed article about the latest Gallup poll had the deleterious effect, imo, of dampening efforts the day before the final battle of this war is fought. No way to lead your troops into battle. Please join me below.
The news looks grim. The enemies advantages are multiple and our forces look vulnerable at every front. Underequipped and outgunned, heavy losses seem inevitable and the war appears as though it might be lost. It's just then that new intel comes in from reconnaissance. "Sir, Gallup is reporting a 15 point LV spread". Oh. my. God. The commander is shellshocked. He becomes glossy-eyed and despondent. Shaking and quivering uncontrollably, wandering aound the command center he mutters out loud. "We're doomed. Face reality. We're doomed!"
The whole officer corps at command is in disbelief. It wasn't all that long ago that the commander was leading us to vaunted victories. Victories in North Carolina.Virginia.Florida. Now he's telling us were doomed? We knew it was desperate, but what do we do now. "Sir, what are your orders, Sir?,... Sir?"
Panic envelopes the elite troops gathered together in Command. All hope seems lost.
It's just then that a soldiers voice from the lower ranks can be heard. The voice of a private. The voice of a volunteer.
'Sir, I will not quit. I will not give up. I will defend my homeland from the hordes of evildoers until my very last breath. If we are to lose this battle , so be it.. but tomorrow let there be no doubt, THAT THEY WILL REMEMBER HOW A KOSSACK FOUGHT!
This lowly volunteer rallied the command on that day. They regained their nerve. And they all went off to fight valiantly. Together.
While many losses were still incurred, the courage mustered forth by those brave volunteers on that day ultimately saved their homeland after many more wars. Defeated Generals Whitman, O'Donnell, Miller, Angle, and many others gave them solace and left a legacy to retell for generations.
We may not win tomorrow, but lets charge into this battle, with the force of our convictions, and to hell with the naysayers!
FOR THE NEXT 30 HOURS OR SO, LET THEM KNOW HOW A KOSSACK FIGHTS
