It's about 12 hours until I can cast my vote. I will be voting straight Dem, (no surprise) but I miss the days when not all of the Reps were crazy and/or evil, and there was, at least the possibility of a 'choice' between two decent aspirants, not 'the lesser of two weasels', as seems to happen a lot in recent years.
I hope to hell Harry Reid keeps his Senate seat, and Rand Paul, Buck, O'Donnell, Fiorina, Miller, and the rest, have to give concession speeches. At least that's my hope, however unfounded. But the House is truly where the rubber hits the road, and there I just don't know how my fellow citizens will act. Locally, I will vote for the Dem, a challenger, my vote, a bit of blue in a very red district. I will vote for the Dems for the state assembly and senate, although I am not all that fond of the leadership of my state's Dems. I will vote for the local city councilmen, although without marked party affiliation, I might accidentally vote for some secret teahadist, a sickening thought. But vote I will, and gladly. Hope your voting experience is positive, with no trouble from teabagging poll watchers, etc. As for me, I will vote, and spend the following 14-15 hours grinding my fillings out, this election will be a 'nail biter'.
