I'm asking KellyRN and the dKos community to assist is locating an e-mail address to contact KosAbility mailing address so that I may work with KellyRN on setting up an available date to post my KosAbility diary (preferably) sometime before the end-of-year as my condition seems to such I am now able to feel well enough to contribute by year-end (if it can be scheduled in the KosAbility roster.
Please follow after the virtual jump (as physical "jumping" is currently not an option....
Thank you, KelleyRN2-Tried to find your email address under your DKos "KelleyRN2 Page"...and couldn't for the life of me find your e-mail address listed there. I'm seeking to sign up to be scheduled for a KosAbility diary slot day (this year, if possible.)
Under my DKos "Dunvegan's Pages" my e-mail is found at two places: (1) at the top of the upper-right hand column at "Dunvegan's Page" -> (Tab) Diaries; and, (2) at "Dunvegan's Page" -> "My Profile."
Dear KelleyRN2, since I cannot find readily available email contact information for you, I hope you will check my DKos profile for my mailing address.
If this also does not provide you with my contact information, please reply in this thread, and I will either post a specially created free mail-account for our correspondence right here.
Many grateful thanks for working with our community on issues of ability. These have had such an important impact on the politico/medical/policy front I feel I'd like to contribute while my spinal injury complications still allow me to do so.
I'm asking for a pre-end of year slot, as after years of frustration and struggle to find a way to integrate my causes with the realities of the new situation that made life slow to the crawl of a snail.
And now, I think after all these years, I have a possible way for us all to begin to create a somewhat higher media profile (I've worked in that area for years) while skirting the traditional MSM policy line and silence about America's disabled.
Thank you again. I dearly hope we can reach each other via e-mail and you can schedule my story and my possible action infrastructure to fight back.
Your work and the work of the diarists have inspired me to overcome my fear of drawing attention to myself, and thing in ways that may bring us all together via action.
Disabled is absolutely not "un-abled"...And ability depends on doing what one can, and leaving all the old ideas about what "able mind/able body" really mean.
I'm grateful to all of KosAbility for how they have supported me through dark times, and I wish to contribute and lurk-no-more.
Regards....
