I just heard on the radio that Jerry McNerney in CA 11 has an insurmountable lead. I'm going to assume that they are right and say "Welcome back" to congress!
Wait, here's another from the LA Times.
Well folks, we've done something in CA to make it a liberal haven over the last couple decades. May I suggest that our large economy, which should fare much better with a simple majority vote on budgets, is part of it. We have lots of infrastructure and despite hard times we're still digging deep and rebuilding. Lets see how states that took lots of stimulus money do over the next couple years. But we invest with our government as much as we can.
And old hand Jerry Brown we should see a more budgetary direction, but mostly I hope that he illustrates in ways that others have not, how we as liberals plan. Most of the country simply is mislead and lied to about, admittedly, somewhat more extensive liberal ideas. And in most states these people hold the purse strings a good part of the time. As in many of our counties. So...
We have Barbara Boxer back and our state congress intact. Let's hope California can help provide a blueprint for what needs to be done over the next couple years. And that y'all pay a little attention here.
Support Jerry, our only math PHd. and green energy engineer in the body. He will be an important piece of the puzzle on this crucial matter.
