From CNN:
John Bolton, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said Sunday he's "considering" a run.
"Yes, I am considering it," Bolton told conservative radio show host Aaron Klein's on WABC in New York. "If I did run, and I haven't made a decision, I have never run for office one way or the other, so it would be a pretty big decision to do it."
Bolton, who serves as a Fox News commentator, said he's concerned that the national discourse does not include talk of foreign policy.
"I'm very concerned about the direction of national security policy," Bolton said. "I'm concerned that we hardly talk about it at national-level debates in the mainstream media."
He also said the president seems to view national security issues as an "irritation, a distraction from what his real priorities are."
In the interview Bolton said Obama "doesn't enjoy being commander-in-chief," and that it's important the Republican Party nominate a strong candidate because the president "gives a pretty good speech."
What is it with these failed Bush assholes? Don't they have the slightest notion that their "solutions" for the world were poison the first time around?
Here we have Bolton, an arrogant, belligerent prick who, as U. S. Ambassador to the UN burned more bridges in a shorter amount of time than any recent political figure.
Just like any Bush crony, he's corrupt and illegitimate (from Looking Glass News):
Remember, Bolton was the stooge that James Baker sent for to disrupt the vote recount in Florida in 2002 and Bolton is now the Republican stooge who has been sent by Cheney/Bush to the United Nations to raise havoc and set the stage for a preemptive strike against Iran. ( his appointment by Bush was made during a congressional recess because the votes were not there to confirm Bolton. As such, his interim ambassadorship is over in January 2007 )
This is a true war monger. The kind of person who, should he ever get into a position of real power would send us all back to the stone age and still believe it was the right move.
Fortunately, the country would never find this nasty piece-of-work appealing as Presidential material. But then again, his former boss - one of the most prickly little assholes ever to hold higher office - did fool the masses into making him king. Never underestimate the stupidity of the general public.
