We can all lament about the poor negotiating prowess of the White House but we have to give credit to the millionaires that are winning hands down and fists pumped.
Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics plainly shows the Republican Conservative Bush tax cuts were extremely successful at lowering the civilian employment level from 132,485 million to 130,311 million today. After successfully destroying 9 million or so jobs, the conservatives are threatening to hold all legislation hostage, including the American people, until they get everything they want. And with a majority of Congress comprised of millionaires, it appears they are doing a great job of looking out for themselves.
After peaking in 2007, civilian employment dropped sharply as the debt prisons created by the housing bubble pulverized Americans into dust.
Wealth was dramatically shifted from 98% of Americans to 2% of Americans. This is vacuum-up economics where the 2% owner’s of America extract the vast wealth of the nation from the other 98%, vacuum-up. Of course, the conservatives will argue passionately that it is the government vacuuming up all of America’s wealth. But this graph paints a different picture. Everyone notice how all those tax cuts produced millions of jobs, NOT. Once the rich owners had us where they wanted us, they pulled the plug and left 80% of Americans trapped in debt prisons. And to add icing to the cake, we must work till we are 67 or 69 to collect on the retirement benefits we have been paying into all of our lives. More vacuum-up economics.

And the best part of all, is that the rich owners of America don’t have to pay for it. They have successfully pushed down the tax burden further and further down the economic scale. Pitting American against American, fighting for the crumbs at the unemployment office and begging for scraps from the conservatives holding America hostage in their all or nothing push to extend the Bush tax cuts and permanently codify VACUUM-UP ECONOMICS.
So let’s all cheer for vacuum-up economics that have made the wealthiest 2% the permanent owners of the country, comply or be destroyed.
