Skip to main content David Buckner another unfortunate foolish Mormon dupe or foil to Glenn Beck's village idiot alter ego - "Mr. America; The Rampant Fool"

Quote of the day: "The serpent, the King, the tiger, the stinging wasp, the small child, the dog owned by the other people, and the fool: these seven ought not be awakened from sleep."

Research topic: "Is it healthy in America to have two Mormons in the same room?"

Boy, this one takes the cake.  There is only one man in America that could start a story under the premise that he is worried about the Mexican economy and end it with: “If you are—If you are a mom and dad in Mexico and you know that people around you are dying, but they’re not dying in the United States, David, wouldn’t you get in the car and come to the United states and try to get free health care here?”     And, evidently only one man in America is stupid enough to go on that very same program and allow himself to become the laughing stock of the academic world.  That man is David Buckner.

There, evidently, are people, by the bucketfull, waiting in the wings at Fox News, to have their careers and even their sanity questioned, just to get to stand next to, “Mr. America; The Rampant Fool”.

This is what happens when the Ed Sullivan show goes off the air.

I know I’m coming late to this party.  However, Buckner showed up again the other day at the chalkboard and brought it all back.  It caused me to ask myself, “Who is David Buckner and why did he do this to his wife and family?”

He’s actually an adjunct psychology professor at Columbia, not an economist, as  “The Rampant Fool” likes to characterize him as being - as professor of Hope 101, Hope 102, and Hope 103 at Beck University.  Buckner is also a Mormon as is Beck and Mitt Romney.  Wow, that is serendipity – Mitt could be President, Beck could be Vice president and Buckner could be Chairman of the Federal Reserve.  It is absolutely amazing the potential, wondrous, combinations that come out of the Fox News Family.

One last thought, all you undergrads at Columbia, I would do some research on the faculty over there – if the word gets out that there are more like Buckner hanging around campus – your future diploma may not be worth much.

Check out the link below and watch the circus.  Watch Brit Hume squirm and stutter - the poor man is still operating under the pathetic pretense that he is a journalist working for an actual news organization.

P.s. This is Propaganda.  The most important thing that Glenn said is: "...wouldn't you get in the car and come to the United States..."  Let's dissect that:  The only possible way that a Mexican citizen can "get in the car" and come here is if they have dual citizenship or a visa, otherwise they may have to pay a Coyote $1200.00, possibly travel six hundred miles, sleep in a filthy room with 26 other folks seeking American healthcare, swim a river or travel through a desert, become dehydrated, maybe have the child that they have brought along to get healthcare die of snakebite, risk robbery and rape by drug cartel members (they have already had what ever little change they had with them stolen, along with their watch, by Mexican police or immigration agents) I'm really starting to get angry - Glenn Beck is a Menace to a civil society and folks are not paying attention.*

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
