So, another day - another spam message in my email from a rightwing relative.
And today I decided to hit "reply."
The "Lies and the Lying Liars who Spam it" rightwing email is over the jump.
Bullshit rightwing spamming email:
This article is from the "Investor's Business Daily."

Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in "excellent health":

I don't know about you, but I don't want "Universal Healthcare" comparable to England or Canada .
Moreover, it was Sen. Harry Reid who said,
"Elderly Americans must learn to accept the inconveniences of old age ."
WELL, SHIP HIS SCRAWNY ASS TO CANADA OR ENGLAND !

My response to the wingnut spam:
Where is the LINK to this so called "Investor's Business Daily" article?
And just so you know... Investor's Business Daily is a media that loses money. So... you are playing follow-the-leader with a loser "business" that doesn't even turn a profit? Furthermore, Investor's Business Daily does not believe in Peak Oil nor Global Warming. They are quite simply flat-earther neanderthals.
And FYI, here is information about the lies spewed by Investor's Business Daily on Stephen Hawkings, the genius theoretical physicist in the UK who has neuro-muscular dystrophy:
On July 31, 2009, an editorial at IBD, criticizing Barack Obama's healthcare plans, claimed that Stephen Hawking "wouldn't have a chance in the U.K., where the National Health Service would say the life of this brilliant man, because of his physical handicaps, is essentially worthless." As Hawking was born and has always lived in the United Kingdom, and receives his medical care from the British National Health Service, the editorial was widely criticized for its inaccuracy. The online version of the editorial was later corrected to remove the argument. Hawking responded to the editorial by saying: "I wouldn't be here today if it were not for the NHS... I have received a large amount of high-quality treatment without which I would not have survived."
And you can send my personal reply to whomever sent you this piece of self-centered self-absorbed lying garbage:
Before you go batshit crazy from the rightwing nuts and Rupert Murdoch's propaganda from the Faux Infotainment channel (that's Fox in case you don't get it)... Congress is NOT even working on nor considering "Univeral Healthcare."
And before you keep pushing the INSURANCE INDUSTRIES' AGENDA for them, you might want to read up and familiarize yourself with this subject just a little bit. Don't use the Fox / Palin crib sheets scribbled on your palm as the Gospel for healthcare. Some things in life really do take a more thorough review instead of just a slipshod half-ass smart-aleck attack on Democrats just because you can in this environment we call Democracy.

At some point in your life you need to realize that not all "business" people are gods and perfect creatures. Snake oil salesmen have always walked amongst us and they always will. When people cannot even exert a little due diligence before accepting ANYTHING from ANYONE just because they say the magic word "I'm a BUSINESS MAN" then you have suckers who get hogwashed into bad decisions.
"A Fool is born every minute" as the businessman P.T. Barnum said.

Is the diary too long? Are you still with me?
Well, here is what should have been sent as a reply and it rocks. If you take one thing away from reading this diary, this is it. h/t to samddoberman
For heaven's sakes, you MISSED the best ANSWER TO ALL OF THE ASSERTIONS.
All these "facts" used statistics about SENIORS.
All seniors are on Medicare.
Medicare is a government plan!
There are no available statistics on those covered by private insurance because the insurance corporations won't release them. They won't release the statistics because some other company may get a competitive advantage.
Tell them to call their — or any — private insurance corporations and ask them these question. Ask them how many of their customers are ever tested for diabetes and then ask how many of those who get a diabetes diagnosis are referred to a specialist.
I guarantee that they won't get an answer.
Tell them to go ask Blue Cross, or Cigna, or Aetna or United Health Group.
The US better care rates are all because of government plans of care.
The statistic about MRI machines may be true but it's because in the US they can charge $1200 to $2400 dollars per scan while in Canada and Britain they only pay about $150 per scan. In Germany it's about $87 and in Japan it is $95 per scan. (The Japanese love scans; they get more than Americans do.)
US has a lot of scanners because it makes doctors and hospitals rich. Most scans do not do the patients any good. Some doctors have gotten very good at talking gobbledegook to impress the patient they are bleeding for bucks.
200 years ago doctors used leeches to bleed their patients. Now the greedy doctors use the fancy machines to bleed them of money.
Send that to your new BFFs. Hit them with it. Repeat every single time you get some thing.
Take the e-mails you get, erase the contents, paste this in and hit reply to all.
Shalom!
