This is a very short diary but should be of substantial interest.
There have been no good images of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill from the NASA Terra and Aqua satellites since April 25 until today. I just checked the NASA MODIS Rapid Response System and found imagery from today. [see below]
Just this evening I've checked the NASA Rapid Response site and I've extracted this fragment obtained by the NASA satellite today, April 29.
