Beck's Manifesto for America (White Man's Lib)
With his special brand of brass-knuckle punditry, Beck is responsible for an ugly surge of anti-government sentiment propelled by a strong undercurrent of unabashed racism. He leads his followers in a celebration of born-again, although foully tainted, patriotism. Beck whispers to them: if it feels good, do it. Stop letting political correctness or social politeness function as a check on the way you choose to display your beliefs. Don't be ashamed of what you really think. Stop hiding your resentments and bigotries under a bushel.
Instead, take to the streets and proudly trumpet your beliefs, no matter how backwards, ignorant, sexist or racist they may sound. Purifying (or "re-founding", as Beck calls it) America based on some amorphous strain of religious fascism, is, for lack of a better word, good.
In Beck's America, there is no longer such a thing as being a racist or misogynist. What the wrong-headed progressives want is to suppress natural mechanisms that are in place to weed out those who are unfit to be real Americans, to hold leadership positions and even to have certain jobs. Political eugenics, bigotry and misogyny work, are good - are right, because they help define real, true Americans, as opposed to the great unwashed who the socialistic liberals have tried to demand be brought along for the ride on the Melting Pot Express in the name of equality and inalienable rights (including, without limitation, the President himself).
No more melting pot. No more inclusiveness. No more diversity. America rightfully belongs to certain people, and now is the time for those people to stand up and take it back. People who are inherently better, who are inherently uniquely deserving of superior status as real Americans, with the right to exclude others as they see fit.
So grab a torch. Burn those bras of political correctness. Rip off those girdles of social politeness. Let it all hang out. It's white man's lib.
This is Beck's manifesto for America.
