Just in case you needed additional proof of how liberal our media is besides Phil Griffin letting Joe Scarborough direct his network and call his own shots, get a load of this one from neo-CNN, as they fired one of their longtime respect Middle East international correspondents.
CNN’s Octavia Nasr said earlier Wednesday that the controversy sparked from her tweet praising a Hezbollah cleric provided a “good lesson” on what to write online. Now it’s cost her a job.
Mediaite reports that Nasr will no longer be the network’s Senior Editor for Mideast Affairs because she wrote on Twitter of having “respect” for recently deceased Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah.
And get this from a head honcho at the network on why Nasr was dispatched of so expediently, despite being at the network for 20 long years.
Parisa Khosravi, Senior Vice President for CNN International Newsgathering, said in a staff memo that Nasr “will be leaving the company.”
“As you know, her tweet over the weekend created a wide reaction,” Khosravi wrote. “As she has stated in her blog on CNN.com, she fully accepts that she should not have made such a simplistic comment without any context whatsoever. However, at this point, we believe that her credibility in her position as senior editor for Middle Eastern affairs has been compromised going forward.”
So, as Jamal Daljani says so well on Twitter:
AIPAC @wolfblitzercnn is Kosher for CNN, but @octavianasrCNN is not.
Or I guess people who love calling Supreme Court Justices "Child Goat F---ing Molesters" is also okay for sure with CNN more than the harmless stuff Nasr wrote.
Special interests and conservative bias (or pure hatred for anything that a hippie liberal progressive would love), continuing to plague this field formally called "journalism", now transformed into "Jokenalism."
And amazing enough, Fixed Propaganda was the #3 today in terms of doing hell hole things to the profession like they always do.
Because MSNBC and neo-CNN sure wanted to exhibit on July 7 how they desire so much to be just like their loving friend Rupert and his lackeys.
It just gets more embarrassing being in the profession that I am in here in America.
(From TWD, have a great rest of your day and evenings. And as always, thanks reading even rec'ding)
