The contentious absentee vote count in the Alaska Senate race that was the backdrop to Miller's tweet suggesting that Lisa Murkowski was a practitioner of the "oldest profession" yesterday, is starting to get fractious enough to resemble an episode of the Jerry Springer Show.
Miller had told Fox Business Network on Wednesday:
Sen. Murkowski calls Miller 'paranoid'
"So you know, we're up against a machine," he said. "Clearly they're putting their pressure to bear but I think we're going to prevail at the end."
Yesterday Miller accused Murkowski of tying to pull that sneaky Democrat trick of counting all the votes.
"You have to be concerned anytime somebody lawyers up and tries to pull an Al Franken, if you will," Miller said
Now Murkowski is demanding an apology for Miller's "oldest profession" tweet, and added a slam of Miller's fears that the election is being stolen from him by the sinister NRSC.
"To suggest that the NRSC has sent an attorney to Alaska to skew results is paranoid," Murkowski said.
Its starting to look like the winner in this race won't be getting the endorsement of the loser because of all the bad blood between them, and the loser might stick around to continue their pie fight into the general election.
The Wall Street Journal is attempting to do an extreme makeover of Joe Miller's image as a wild eyed Tea Bagger, by portraying Miller as bland without any hint of radical views.
In the meantime the Scott McAdams campaign is on the move.
