Will he be a stronger or a doomed candidate after the maelstrom?
So now
Zogby joins
ARG and
Suffolk showing a Dean bounce. Let's say Dean beats expectations in NH. Let's further assume that his money advantage is still there (not a given after Iowa's spree). He could have a very legitimate chance at the nomination.
Should we be worried about a very weakened Dean (after IA, the onslaught of the media and other candidates, and the mythical "yeeehawww") possibly winning the nomination? Or have these brutal attacks tempered-by-fire his candidacy?
The RNC file on him must be brimming with quotes, pictures, and videos. Is he, post-Sawyer, immune to the anger tag?
Is the American voter adult enough to the extent that the Dean campaign assumes? I'm referring in particular to the tax issue. I agree with Dean, but that's the position that scares me the most. Before Iowa, I used to give him the benefit of the doubt, since his instincts seemed impeccable.
But the caucus showed that his campaign did not bring young new voters out in droves as he claimed. At this point, he is a Democratic McCain. Except that McCain was adored by the media.
I'm a Deaniac for the record. Worked hard for him in Iowa. Want him to pull this one out. But the ultimate goal is ridding ourselves of you-know-Who.
