Once again, it is Saturday morning and Ye Olde Shoppe is open for discussion of repairs and improvements on our homes.
Winter continues its Fan Dance here with 38 degree temps on a January morning.
Forty years ago last week, northern NM had a bout of cold that is still the benchmark around here. 38 below zero in the higher villages along the slopes of the Sangres in the Santa Fe area.
Normally, I do not do politics here, but it IS my party, so...
I have been harping here at Teh GOS lately about the "Working Class" and its untapped potential for political agency if it could only be unified to defend its own interests.
Y'know, the folks who go to work because they need a paycheck; the 90% of Americans who are not the Owners. Seems to this old fart that this is a huge constituency that ought to be brought together, rather than divided by endless distractions.
So I shoot off these comments about "Working Class solidarity" a lot these days, and some people seem to get it.
But this comment really knocked my socks off. Am I really this old and irrelevant and clueless? Is this what Democrats have become?
The working class (0+ / 0-)
isn't our base. They haven't voted for us in decades. Let it go.
People panic too much on this site.

I bow to the wisdom of my fellow members of the Working Classes.
