Let's have some fun today.
(202) 225 - 5311
That's the office number for Rep. Andy Harris from the Maryland's own First District. Today he is eligible for government-subsidized healthcare. Boy, he's a lucky one, isn't he?
(Actually it isn't luck, but that's an entirely different topic.)
You may remember this.....
Politico
A conservative Maryland physician elected to Congress on an anti-Obamacare platform surprised fellow freshmen at a Monday orientation session by demanding to know why his government-subsidized health care plan takes a month to kick in.
This was, after, of course, Mr. Harris had defeated Frank Kratovil by stating numerous times on the campaign trail
"I will fight to repeal health-care reform"
(202) 225 - 5311
That's Andy Harris' number in Washington. He deserves congratulations today, as he gets his, while 30+ million Americans are still waiting to get theirs.
Update Postscript:
If you decide to call, the person you speak to may try to devalue your comments by making it seem that if you aren't a resident of MD-01, then Mr. Harris has no compunction to pay attention to you.
Don't buy it. Mr. Harris wants to repeal a national law. This is not a parochial issue. If his vote were to repeal PPACA for MD-01 only, that would be one thing. That is not the case here.
