Lupe Fiasco released his new single this morning at 12 AM.

He tackles everything from the schools being closed down to Rush Limpballs.

Even if you hate rap there is no denying this man has a message that needs to be heard.

You need to listen.

He has a message that all of humanity needs to hear.

His music is so powerful his record label Atlantic did not want to release this album.

I'm just a huge fan of his who is trying to spread his message.

His music changes people lives.

Please listen.

I had a request in the comment section for the lyrics.

Words I Never Said.
Lyrics

[Chorus]
Its so loud, inside my head
With words that I, should of said
As I drown, in my regrets
I cant take back, the words I never said (x2)

[Verse 1]
I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bullshit/
Just a poor excuse for you to use up all your bullets/
How much money does it take to really make a full clip/
9/11, Building 7, did they really pull it?/
UH! And a bunch of other cover-ups/
Your child's future was the first to go with budget cuts/
If you think that hurts, then wait, here comes the uppercut/
The school was garbage in the first place, thats on the up and up/
Keep you at the bottom but they teach at the upper crust/
You get it, then they move it, so you never keeping up enough/
If you turn on TV, all you see is a bunch of what the fucks/
Dude is dating so and so, blabbering 'bout such and such/
And that aint Jersey Shore, homie thats the news/
And these the same people s'posed to be telling us the truth?/
Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist/
Gaza Strip was getting bombed, Obama didn't say shit/
Thats why I didn't vote for 'em, next one either/
I'm a part of the problem, my problem is I'm peaceful/
And I believe in the people, yea!/

[Chorus]
Its so loud, inside my head
With words that I, should of said
As I drown, in my regrets
I cant take back, the words I never said

[Verse 2]
Now we can say it aint our fault, if we never heard it/
But if we know better than we probably deserve it/
Jihad is not holy war, where's that in the worship?/
Murdering is not Islam, and you are not observant/
And you are not a Muslim/
Israel don't take my side 'cuz look how far you've pushed 'em/
Walk with me into the ghetto, this where all the kush went/
Complain about the liquor store but what you drinking liquor for?/
Complain about the globe but, when'd you pick a broom up?/
Just listening to Pac, aint gon' make it stop/
A rebel in your thoughts, aint gon' make it hault/
If you don't become an acter, you'll never be a factor/
Pills with million side effects, take 'em when the pains felt/
Wash 'em down with diet soda, killing off your brain cells/
Crooked banks around the world will gladly give a loan today/
So if you ever miss a payment, they can take your home away/

[Chorus]
Its so loud, inside my head
With words that I, should of said
As I drown, in my regrets
I cant take back, the words I never said (x2)

[Verse 3]
I think that all the silence is worse than all the violence/
Fear is such a weak emotion, thats why I despise it/
We scared of almost everything, afraid to even tell the truth/
So scared of what you think of me, I'm scared of even telling you/
Sometimes I'm like the only person I feel safe to tell it to/
I'm locked inside a cell in me, I know that there's a jail in you/
Consider this your bailing out, so take a breathe, inhale if you/
My screams is finally getting free, my thoughts are finally getting through/

[Chorus]
Its so loud, inside my head
With words that I, should of said
As I drown, in my regrets
I cant take back, the words I never said

If you missed his first album "The Cool"

He released a song called American Terrorist.

I consider this the greatest rap song ever made.

Once you hear this song you will understand why it was never played on the radio and why his record company did not make a video for it.

This video was done by a fan of his in Anime.

The Enigma Zero.

Here are the Lyrics for American Terrorist.

"American Terrorist"

Close your mind
close your eyes
see with your heart
how do you forgive the murderer of your father?
the ink of a scholar is worth a thousand times more than the blood of a martyr

we came through the storm nooses on our necks
and a smallpox blanket to keep us warm
on a 747 on the pentagon lawn
wake up the alarm clock is connected to a bomb
anthrax lab on a w. Virginia farm
shorty ain't learned to walk already heavily armed
civilians and little children is especially harmed
camouflaged Torahs, Bibles and glorious qurans
the books that take you to heaven and let you meet the Lord there
have become misinterpreted, reasons for warfare
we read 'em with blind eyes I guarantee you there's more there
the rich must be blind because they didn't see the poor there
need to open up a park, just close 10 schools
we don't need 'em
can you please call the fire department they're down here marching for freedom
burn down their TV's, turn their TV's on to teach 'em

[CHORUS:]
The more money that they make
the more money that they make
the better and better they live
whatever they wanna take
whatever they wanna take
whatever whatever it is
the more that you wanna learn
the more that you try to learn
the better and better it gets
American Terrorist
(Terror)

now the poor klu klux man see that we're all brothers not because things are the same because we lack the same
color that's green, now that's mean
cant burn his cross cause he can't afford the gasoline
now if a Muslim woman strapped with a bomb on a bus
with the seconds running give you the jitters?
just imagine an American-based Christian organization planning to poison water supplies to bring the second-coming quicker
nigga they ain't living properly
break 'em off a little democracy
turn their whole culture to a mockery
give 'em Coca-Cola for their property
give 'em gum, give 'em guns, get 'em young, give 'em fun
if they ain't giving it up, then they ain't getting none and don't give 'em all naw, man, just give 'em some its
the paper, some of these cops must be al-qaeda

[CHORUS (2X)]

It's like
don't give the black man food, give red man liquor
red man fool, black man nigga
give yellow man tool, make him railroad builder
also give him pan, make him pull gold from river give black man crack, glocks and things, give red man
craps, slot machines...

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

given the nature of the music business and fanbase, it's possible that our generation will miss that album for what it is... a piece of genius, analagous to "what's going on" by marvin gaye.

As well-known as Lupe is (thanks in part to Kanye), he's still vastly underrated.

looking forward to checking out his new album..."Lasers"...

This might be great, but he could have been speaking a foreign language for all I could tell. Maybe I'm the only one with this problem, but I doubt it, so if you really want to spread his message, I suggest putting it in writing.

The conscious rapper is often lost in obscurity these days. My favorite lines :

If you turn on TV, all you see is a bunch of what the fucks/
Dude is dating so and so, blabbering 'bout such and such/
And that aint Jersey Shore, homie thats the news/
And these the same people s'posed to be telling us the truth?/

Gaza Strip was getting bombed, Obama didn't say shit/

Television News meant for entertainment is taken way too seriously, sadly it is the only conversation in which there is a public debate on a single issue that engages a large number of people across the country. Things seem to be getting better, I see less celebrity news and constructive journalism seems to becoming fashionable again.

We all know the United States government is both hypocritical and often racist when it comes to positions on the Israeli Palestinian situation. We need to embrace reality and stop hiding by saying it is a hard topic to debate.
