I’m not in the mood for writing a whole, drawn-out post tonight, and I’ve got three major assignments to do for class; two of which have a deadline for tomorrow.
But let me say this much: you don’t know how much of a pain in the ass it is to try to play by the rules of this society, and have it not benefit you at all.
For instance, you can only get assistance in this state if you have a kid, yet you’re not supposed to have kids unless you’re married, ideally. You can’t get a loan for anything without good credit and a job, and yet if you don’t have good credit, you can’t get a job.
Can’t start a home-based business without money, can’t get money if you can’t get a loan. You can have all the kids you want, but there’s no guarantee you’re going to be there for them in any capacity beyond five years. And the fact of the matter is, if you don’t have kids, the state is less likely to assist you.
That’s my deal, today. I’m royally screwed.
Because I didn’t fuck up, and have a kid out of wedlock.
See you in Bankruptcy Court. Which you can’t get assistance for unless you have money.
Which I don’t.
...please?
