You know, I never felt what is going on now in Egypt had anything to do with politics or religion, and I never will. Let the MSM do their job on that, but I see it all very differently.
I see what is going on now is what many have called a Paradigm shift in the entire face of the world, and I for one welcome it.
This is a long, time coming, and a long time has got to come, change in my heart, and soul, and I think it might me yours too. I've never believed in violence, because my dad and Uncle Jack, two old white guys from the south, taught be about MLK, Jr, and today, what we are witnessing is this remarkable truth, about how that works in this world.
Do you know what I saw that happened today in Egypt?
It is was the truth of Martin Luke King, Jr, and Mahatma Gandhi.
The fighting does stop eventually, but the country is divided by religion. It is decided that the northwest area of India, and eastern part of India (current day Bangladesh), both places where Muslims are in the majority, will become a new country called Pakistan (West and East Pakistan respectively). It is hoped that by encouraging the Muslims to live in a separate country, violence will abate. Gandhi is opposed to the idea, and is even willing to allow Muhammad Ali Jinnah to become the first prime minister of India, but the Partition of India is carried out nevertheless.
Gandhi spends his last days trying to bring about peace between both nations. He thereby angers many dissidents on both sides, one of whom finally gets close enough to assassinate him in a scene at the end of the film that recalls the opening.
As Godse shoots Gandhi, the film fades to black and Gandhi is heard in a voiceover, saying "Oh God". The audience then sees Gandhi's cremation; the film ending with a scene of Gandhi's ashes being scattered on the holy Ganga. As this happens, we hear Gandhi in another voiceover:
" When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always.

That statement is is an arrow in my own heart, how about yours?
When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always.
No, I will not turn away from that, I will have the courage to face it, do you?
Now, today, we have the amazing opportunity to understand, why the oppressed people of the Middle East are angry, and as we have fully watched as Ireland, and Portugal, and Spain and Greece are all falling into total destruction, that we as a nation, do not understand how our own nation started this completed plague, that has led to this point?
No, none of this is right, and we now it is not. Morality and laws and the basic ways civilizations survive, have been written about for centuries.
For us to pretend otherwise is a lie, and a lie that will destroy all of us.
So here is my final say, on this site: Read the Democratic Platform, if you dare, then get back to me. I know who I am, I know who I came from and who I stand for.
I stand for the Unions of this nation. I stand for the manufacturing base of this nation, I stand for Social Security and Medicare, that I paid into for my entire life, which should never have been called, 'entitlement' in the first place.....
I don't give a shit that Barack Obama is the first transformational Black President, in this nation, if he is going to sell us all down the river, and once more, I don't care if you call me a racist for calling that out as as fact of the matter.
I'm sick of that shit, all the way down he pike. Guess, what, I loved his ass all the way down to the basic degree I could, and so did you.
How can we stop fighting each other on this basic premise is what I want to know?
My question, is a hard question, and I know it is?
How to separate our Leader from our own party platform, and how can we find the middle ground?
How can we stop fighting each other, as a party, and come back together again?
I'm so tired of this needless fight. This is not about race or color or religion.
No matter what you say, this is the 'rule of law' that has been ignored, all the way through, so for god sakes, stop blaming your fellow Democrats, that know what has happened and have proved it to you.
I'm so tired of trying to prove to others, what we all know what has happened in our nation, and to have those on this site, discrete us and make us all feel like we no longer have the right to prove the evidence, we have provided, over the past several years.
No more, no more lies, no more of telling the progressives they are liars are wrong. No more people. We proved our evidence, and then again, you keep calling us lairs.
That has to end, and has to end now.
