Woo hoo, my first diary here at DK4! Barb has a diary on the FP as of this writing highlighting Speaker Boehner's comments today :
Boehner: If Jobs Are Lost As A Result Of GOP Spending Cuts 'So Be It'
Given Speaker Boehner's campaign promises of "Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!" and the contrast in what the House has focused on since he assumed his big gavel....coupled with his Marie Antoinette-ish attitude in the above statement, I say let's remind him what he said he was going to focus on.
In Barb's diary, PsychoSavannah made this comment:
His office is getting more (9+ / 0-)
and more flip as time goes on. I still call them, every day, and ask where the jobs bills are. I'm waiting for the day when they laugh at me, but it hasn't happened yet.
202-225-6205 if you want to ask too.
To which I responded that we should have a blitz day where the "kosmunity" calls Speaker Boehner's office and in the exchange I offered to put up a diary so here it is!
Let's call the Speaker's office and (politely) ask: "Where are the jobs bills Mr. Speaker?"
It's one call! You can do one call can't you? 202-225-6205
Be polite but direct and clear. You can also remind the Speaker's office that 10 years of his preferred strategy have NOT resulted in job growth.
"Where are the jobs bills Mr. Speaker"?
While you're at it, here's a list of House members who you might also call if you have the time: http://www.house.gov/...
And the member telephone directory: http://clerk.house.gov/...
So, will you call?
