It's a great week to be a progressive! And with what's happening in Wisconsin, it's a great time to remind ourselves of the importance of showing up, standing up and not putting up with right-wing crap. So, once again, I'm posting a little one-click quizlet about a pioneer of the Left.
How to play: Read clues below. Guess who it is. Click to see a pic and the name. Ready?
Who Am I?
In the mid-20th Century, I was a pioneering community organizer, a writer, social theorist and mentor.
In the 1940s, I founded the Industrial Areas Foundation, an international community organizing group.
In the 1950s and 1960s, I helped organize African-American communities to push for improved education and economic opportunities.
I established early credit unions in minority communities.
