Two weeks ago, we visited one of our favorite places in the world, Longwood Gardens. Their current exhibit is "Orchid Extravaganza," an annual event.
I took so many pictures that I can't fit them all into one diary! So I decided to focus mainly on the close ups for this diary, and hopefully, I'll share the rest of the photos with you in another diary and it will focus on... hmm, on second thought, I'll let that be a surprise for next time.
Okay we're approaching the entrance.
And now we're walking to the conservatory.
Below you will find dozens of beautiful orchids. I hope you'll enjoy them.

This last shot is my pride and joy. I was very taken by this calla lily, not so much because I'm a lover of calla lilies, they're nice but not my favorites, but it was late in the day and the sun was coming in at an angle through the glass panels in the roof of the conservatory, and it was the way the flowers looked in that light. It was breathtaking.

Until next time...
