Ohio's Kasich is trying to out do Walker with his new revised bill. If he and the Republican state legislature get its way, it would criminalize walkouts and BAN strikes. The republicans in the legislature even replaced one of their own members who didn't like the bill from the committee so they could ram it through.

The initial bill would strip collective bargaining rights for state workers, but allow strikes. The revised measure would ban public worker strikes, and establish fines and jail time for those who participate in walkouts. It would allow unionized workers to negotiate wages, hours, and safety conditions but not health care, sick time or pension benefits.
Republican Governors are going to far now. They are attempting to revert the country back to the 1890's when strikes were busted with force. This is not about wages and it never was, it was only about making sure that those who do the labor and are struggling in the recession have no voice to dissent to their bosses. We need these rights as gas and food prices increase across the country so we should not be silent on this issue.
