I feared clicking the link on DK4 and other places I've seen it. My concern was based on the wording, "Do you support Scott Walker?" This and the fact that it was a Newsmax poll. I feared that simply clicking the link would be registered as a vote of support. So anyway, a few minutes ago I found a link that was worded in a safer manner and I took the chance. There were six questions regarding Walker, unions, Obama, and 2008 presidential choice.
After completing the poll and submitting my choices, that was it. No results were shown, only an opportunity to share the poll with others regarding [inflammatory language regarding unions I choose to not repeat]
So I sent them a message ...
Where are your poll results? Oooh, must be bad news for Walker, otherwise you'd be crowing about how much support he has. Y'all have truly jumped the shark. Tooo many middle class families are affected by what is going on now for them to continue supporting the GOP regardless of WHO is having sex with WHO or whatever other phony "morality" issues you snooker people with. Where is the morality in letting 1% of the population have 23% of the nation's wealth? Especially while these same wealthy and their peons in the next 9% have spent the last two decades selling off the American Dream to China and Singapore and whoever else they can get to work for slave wages.
Now we're seeing the real heart of modern Republicanism - heartlessness and greed, tax cuts for the wealthy and pay and service cuts for everyone else. Y'all are disgusting parasites. You contribute nothing, gamble and speculate in the markets with the money you should be paying in taxes and thereby blow bubble after bubble, progressively sucking money out of the hands of the poor and middle class to feed your bottomless appetite for MORE. World food prices are at an all time high and causing starvation. Why? Because rich people and hedge fund managers need a new mansion or two ... each. This is not sustainable. You'd best wake up.
[Note: poll format shamelessly, and poorly, ripped off from NNadir.]
