Sorry for the rambling. I'm a little drunk and a lot of upset over today's events. If you don't like this "diary", I don't blame you. But I have to get this off my chest.
I always believed in America. I always believed there was always a better day ahead of us. My dad came form nothing and built a good life for his family. He made sure I was educated. I was able to get a good job to provide for my family. Because of that, I thought the American Dream was real. No matter how dark things got, no matter how evil the temporary occupants of power, there was a better day ahead.
Now, the public sector workers of Ohio and Wisconsin are stripped of their right. Gabby Giffords struggles every day to return to a normal life while the Right was able to get off the hook for inspiring a madman to pull the trigger. Muslim=Americans are now the subject of House hearings just like the Japanese and Germans during the two World Wars. A New York Times reporter has thus far gotten away with almost placing the blame on an 11-year old girl for being gang raped. No, our best days are not ahead. It's all downhill form here. I'm going to start reading up on the Roman Empire because that's where we are headed.
