Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich says "things happened in my life that were not appropriate" because he loved America so much he "worked far too hard."
Now what would Newt do as President? Take a lot of vacations like Bush? Does he think that being President is easy? What happens when things get tough and he gets that 4 am phone call? Does this not show that he has bad judgment when confronted with stress?
This is just typical of the Republican attitude towards life. The fact that he was screwing someone in an extra-marital affair while trying to impeach President Clinton is not lost on those of us who appreciate a well tuned sense of irony. How hipocritical?
What a loser. But the sad fact is that he, like his friend Sarah Palin, is raking in the money. Politics is pure, unbridled corruption.
