Fox asshattery has hit a new low. Ann Coulter is interviewed by Bill O'Reilly and she promotes her new column "A Glowing Report on Radiation". She delivers the irresponsible and tasteless premise with a smirk, that radiation in excess of government guidelines is actually good for you. She cites scientific evidence from a "stunning number of physicists" that there are documented medical benefits from elevated radiation exposure. Bill asks, if this is true, why don't we know about it?
Ann's answer- The science is documented, but is not getting media attention.
Why is the media not reporting this? A) It's not sensational- that people don't have two heads, and B) "It's an anti- nuclear power effect".
Bill- You have to be responsible in a sense, err on the side of caution.. You have to get the folks out of there, you have to report worse case scenarios..
Ann- But what you just described is not true. You say that the scientific community describes that at some level radiation is bad for you. But that is not what at least the news is reporting. They say that the tiniest drop of radiation is dangerous, and that is absolutely not true.
Ann should hop on a plane and head on over to Fukushima. We need someone with her belief system to shoot a water gun on melting reactors.
Fox pseudo science that promotes corporate profits at the risk of human life is on display.
