A full blown tornado warning has just been issued for Half Mood Bay in San Mateo County.
The warning just interrupted the Thom Hartman on the emergency warning system.
I have lived in the Bay Area since 1962, and have never heard this before.
I know that this is a short diary, but this is such an unusual event, I wanted to put up a place to follow and discuss it.

Small Tornado in Santa Rosa, CA
At Sequoia Landscape Materials, the wind picked up a 150-foot section of corrugated tin roof on a outdoor shed and tore it from its sturdy wooden supports. The entire structure then toppled over, coming to rest partly in Pacific Avenue in Santa Rosa.
Overhead lines were also downed and debris flung into nearby yards. A section of the tin roof came to rest about 100 feet up in a tree across the street.
Four workers at the landscape business at the time were all inside other buildings. No injuries were reported.
