Today I've seen a diary calling Obama for being shameful and for the Libyans to spill their own blood, I've seen diaries arguing over the "new war" in Libya. Frontpage stuff about Democrats not playing hardball, etc.

Why have I not found or seen one diary covering the protests of the treatment of Bradley Manning?

Firedoglake has been covering the events today in which hundreds if not thousands of protesters headed to the Marine base at Quantico where Bradley Manning is being tortured by Obama's DOD.

Reports of hundreds, if not thousands of police forces packing MP5's, Riot Shields, and full body armor to defend against the peaceful protests to give Manning what he deserves: release from the torturous conditions under which he suffers.

Without trial.

Without due process.

This is not only an American Citizen, but he's one of our own Soldiers for cryin' out loud.

Reading this thread at FDL will help you show just what the people we elected to represent us are doing to one of the citizens who elected to serve us in the armed forces.

Obama's not only not protecting whistleblowers like Manning, but he's clearly okay with them being tortured.

If Obama isn't further proving himself to be the 2nd Coming of BushCo, I don't know what else the man has to do.

My support for him is eroding away. Hope and Change apparently means nothing when the Military-Industrial-Corporate-Bankster Complex tells you to jump.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
