I got the above via email, and I felt the need to share.
Actually, I wanted to do more than that, I wanted to riff (in Lunkhead's patented incoherent style) on the classic line that "We are the ones that we have been waiting for."
The line was intended to be uplifting, but, cynic that I am, I want to take the words in a different direction.
If we are the ones that we have been waiting for, then we dare not rely on other people to be actors for what we see good and right in the world.
We do not know their agendas, and so we can only expect people in authority to do the right thing when they feel forced to do so.
