In the situation we are facing of a full scale ideological attack on the working class and the poor under the pretext of "fixing the economy" as opposed to the reality of further concentrating wealth, the most important thing that we need to understand is the need for unity amongst the left. Falling into sectarian and partisan fights only divides us and enables those seeking to gain from our divisions to succeed.
We have theoretical differences, we have tactical and strategic differences, but unless we are willing to work together, the victors will be the politically and economically powerful, the financiers and the multinational corporations.
So this photo-diary of the anti-cuts demonstration yesterday in London will only be of the left groups that participated, showing us united to fight against those attacking the working class, the poor and the reserve army of labour. United we win, divided we shall certainly hang together ...
