What fresh hell will we hear about from Kodaffy, the GOBP, or any other of "the usual suspects?" I guess we'll find out!

Photobucket

Let's get historical first. On March 29, 1867, Cy Young, American professional baseball player, was born. Baseball season begins Thursday, boys & girls! And, the Cubs will be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention on Friday. Hey, I'm a long - suffering Cubs fan, so I can say that! ;D Oh, and if Keith Olbermann's lurking about, you're welcome for me making a baseball tidbit the "this day in history" item! :)

Now, it's time for SPARK! I will believe this story when I see it. Rich people & big corporations usually manage to wiggle their way out of precarious legal situations.

Photobucket

Well, hell, not nearly enough people did silly and/or stupid things today that are SPARK - worthy, so let's get on with The Rachel Maddow Show!

"Authoritarian Conservatism VS. Libertarian Conservatism" - Huh, I recall seeing that big 'ol chart before! ;D OK, I get the "limited government" shtick; it's too bad they don't practice what they preach! *&^%$#@! State employees in FL will be subjected to drug tests at least every 3 months thanks to Governor Ricky. The heck with that darned Constitution! Governor Snyder in MI has or wants to declare financial marshall law.

Photobucket

And, how 'bout that Governor Scotty in WI? A UW - Madison history professor gave a very detailed history of what Governor Scotty's trying to do. The WI GOBP now wants to read his emails. Oh, here's the VA bat$hit Governor again! Y'all remember him, yes?

Photobucket

AND, bat$hit GOBP groups in MI are on the look - out for emails for certain tag lines or subject lines - one of which is "Maddow." Huh, does that mean I'm on that list, too? GOODY!

Photobucket

"It's Not About the Budget" - Yes, Rachel, we KNOW it's not about budgets; it's about union - busting & weakening the Democratic party & making rich people more rich & making everyone else more poor to make the rich people more rich. Do I have that correct? November is coming early in WI; just check out them ads! The path of this shameful union - busting bill has taken a nauseating twisting turning legal road, too, as we all know.

Photobucket

The WI SOS Doug LaFollette is on deck to discuss the court rulings concerning Governor Scotty's union - busting. A judge reiterated today that this law AIN'T REALLY LAW; however, Governor Scotty's acting like it is. I thought the GOBP were supposed to be the "law & order" party; I am perplexed! ;D How did Governor Scotty win again - SERIOUSLY???!!!

"That's Rich" - The unemployment rate in MI is still over 10%. Governor Snyder claims he's all about the jobs. So, how does abolishing towns & their elected leaders create jobs? This town - abolishing bill is "sponsored" by some conservative "think tank" which involves such princes such as the Kochtopus, Erik Prince's Mommy & Daddy, etc.

Photobucket

Governor Snyder is also trying to decrease the unemployment benefits for those who are unemployed in his fair state. So, Michigan's economy will continue down the terlet since people will have less money to spend. Dean Baker gets to talk unemployment benefit reduction in MI. The GOBP in Congress want to cut down on food stamps, too. Let them eat...NOTHING!

Photobucket

Mr. Baker took a verbal shot at President Obama's leadership. I agree with him to a point; it's not like President Obama hasn't had 80 gazillion things going on. Plus, I think he's still surrounded by people who don't think stories like this are all that important. But, then again, President Obama has the bully pullpit & decides who's going to be in his "inner circle."

"Precedent of the United States" - So, how much time, money, people, etc. are we going to spend in & on Libya? And, what's the over - under on Kodaffy surrendering VS going all Hitler - Evan Braun on his sorry a$$? ;D The "official" transfer of NATO command is tomorrow; the way President Obama talked to Brian Williams made things sound like the transfer's a done deal. How 'bout that faboo non - answer answer from President Obama as to whether we're going to arm rebels to force Kodaffy out??!! *&^%$#@! He also insists our country's actions in Libya will not predict future action (or non - action) in international activities. Eugene Robinson gets Libya duty. He's confused, too! He thinks regime change is vital & necessary for the success of the UN & NATO mandate even though President Obama said that taking out Kodaffy isn't part of the official operations there.

[$aint $arah from Wasilla even quits halfway through reading news headlines; paint me shocked - NOT! ;D]

"Good News for the Big Guy?" - We've got a "son of Citizens United" case in front of SCOTUS, now. Well, just guess how that'll turn out?! Justice Elena Kagan will probably vote on the "pro - Citizens United " side.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
