If you're like me, you may have received the following message from a facebook friend who supports the Obama re-election campaign: "Are You In?"
This new facebook feature enables Obama supporters who have joined his 2012 campaign to quickly remind their left-leaning friends to get involved with the campaign straight from BarackObama.com
My response to my friend's query "Are You In?" follows after the fold...
Am I in for another Obama run for president?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obama has been a weak and ineffective leader.
He has betrayed many of the poor and middle class people (like me) who donated their hard-earned money and who worked their butts off for him making calls and going door-to-door in 2008.
He has done more for his biggest donors - the corporations, than he has done for the poor and middle class working people.
He has not taken a stand for Labor Unions and the working class in states like Wisconsin, and he has stood aside while Republican governors nationwide cut, cut, cut benefits for the most vulnerable while giving tax breaks to the rich.
Obama said he would not extend the tax cuts for the rich, but he did. He may just follow the Republican governors' lead by signing into law an immoral Republican-inspired federal budget that eliminates benefits for the most needy while keeping tax cuts for the rich.
Obama has been a moral failure as President, and did not do the job many of us elected him to do.
We are still in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now we are in Libya (He even lied about our role there).
Obama wasted the two years when he had a Democratic Congress, and he passed a weak, watered down, unconstitutional "health care" bill that was nothing more than a gift to the health insurance corporations. Forcing Americans to pay the middle man (the health insurance corporations) is a crime. Single-payer health-care, funded by taxpayer dollars, is the only way to go.
I could go on and on, but what's the point? It seems that Obama supporters want to reward failure.
I will never vote for or support the Corporate Republicans; neither will I ever again support the Corporate Democrats. I will support a good independent third party candidate like a Dennis Kucinich.
If Obama loses, so be it. Maybe the American people need to suffer at the hands of the Corporate Republican hatchet-men to wake up and put an end to the corrupt corporate-funded two-party system we now have.
Listen up Obama supporters... take me off your e-mail lists and don't bother calling me!!
