A quick scan didn't show anyone had diaried this yet, so I thought I'd put it up to get the info out there to this community.
From my local newspaper, The Oshkosh Northwestern:
Walker hires young drunk
Our uneducated dropout of a Governor is apparently trying to surround himself with folks whom he feels bright and competent around. This type of good ol' boy bullshit has to be stopped. The appointment of Randy Hoppers' mistress and now this!? My beautiful state is being destroyed!
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Critics of Gov. Scott Walker are saying the hiring of the 27-year-old son of an influential lobbyist to an $81,500-per-year job is evidence the administration is using state jobs for political payback.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Monday that Brian Deschane has no college degree, little management experience and two drunken-driving convictions. Yet he was hired to a job overseeing environmental and regulatory matters and dozens of employees.
Walker gets his undies all bunched up about those damn educated teachers making $35k and yet he gives this two time drunk dropout a job paying $81,500!?!? Walker is a criminal.

Excerpt from a great comment from G2geek below:
"... few things piss off red-blooded Americans as much as the idea of hereditary privilege. Our ancestors, genetic and memetic, fought wars to put that evil to an end. ... smart Democrats should be introducing bills in the state legislature, to specifically criminalize this kind of nepotism-by-association. Let the Republicans explain themselves about why they support hereditary privilege. That'll be a real hoot-and-a-half."

As BrazenSerpent pointed out in the comments:
"I know this is probably painfully nit-picky, but I'm going to add it anyway. The issue isn't that he is uneducated, but that his level of education should disqualify him.
There are a lot of people who do not attempt or fail to earn a bachelor's degree. I cannot agree with the assumption that it means they are uneducated."
I absolutely agree and regret not thinking that through. That said, I will keep it as is as to not whitewash it.
